Hey angelmonkey...wow cant believe your dd is already over 4 months, time flies. My dd is just over 10 months and nearly walking...insane. Anyway back to question at hand,I think I introduced baby rice ceral to dd at around 4.5 to 5 months...just made it really runny at first (with exp BM) and then gradually increased the thickness and she LOVED it. Once she was about 6 months I actually just mixed all her cereal with water and still do, she loves it just as much. I am still BFing dd 4 times a day at 10 months and like you my boobs are not coping at all, she has 4 teeth and another 4 on the way, she doesnt bite, but rubs them against my nipples and it really is getting to the point of intense pain. Esp my right nipple, there is a little cut in it and when she latches her tooth rubs on the cut and reopens it OUCH! I REALLY want to keep going till she is 1 and then still wanted to keep her morning and night feed, but will have to see as my boobs might not be able to take much more haha. She is very attached to boob so weaning might be hard.... Let me know how your dd liked the cereal? How are you enjoying being a mummy??
