My wife has this condition and we have done everything to treat it but nothing works. It starts as red, itchy bumps and then becomes swollen red patches that after a few days start to scab. It started on her belly and now goes all the way from her knees to her neck she cannot sleep at all. She is 26 weeks. I even had our house checked for bed bugs, scrubbed all the floors with diluted bleach, and washed all of her clothes twice, once with Tide "free" and then a second time with just water to make sure all the soap was out. Still it keeps spreading. She is taking an antibiotic but we have not noticed any effect from it. I can’t wait to show her this forum so at least she knows she is not alone.
