I was just prescribed Tylenol 3 (tylenol with Codeine) for excrutiating pain in my teeth and gums associated with impacted wisdom teeth that I cannot have taken out until after the birth of my baby girl. I am also scared to death to take this medication. Codeine is a Narcotic and seems very unsafe. So I took 1/2 of a pill and it did the trick. The pain is only periodic. But I guess they would not have prescribed it if hey suspect that it would harm the baby. I am 29 weeks (7 months pregnant ) so my baby is pretty much formed already. I would definately be more skeptical if I wa snot in my third trimester.
