Hey Mary I don't know if this helps but here goes.I asked my doctor with my last pregnancy and he told me to use water based paints along with ventilation. He said oil based has a lot of toxins and is hard on a person even when not pregnant, also with oil base paint the smell stays strong for quite some time. Good Luck!!
