Yes, your colleagues will talk, and when the time comes to tell your co-workers, your best plan may be to share your dilemma, ask their advice, let them learn the emotions that have taken you down this path. At least half of them will sympathize. In other countries, women like you have consciously chosen to have their children without having to put up with a man cluttering up their lives.
