I had the same problem. I had brown discharge instead of blood. Had all the symptoms of a period, yet it didn't come. I am now 6 days late for my period. I have taken two tests and they both said negative. I am a little concerned that maybe it was an early miscarrige that caused the brown discharge, but wouldn't my period have started after something like that? I was upset about the negative response and am not wanting to retest and get my hopes up again. But I still do not know why my period is late. what should I do? wait and see next month or test again? Please help me Thanks
