I had PUPPP during my pregnancy with my son. I wanted to tell you all that I had a wonderful doctor who had seen several cases of PUPPP. Mine was severe. After trying a few different creams, oatmeal baths, etc., he finally prescribed a dose of steroids. I have to tell you all that it was the ONLY thing that worked. The rash DID NOT go away; however, the ITCHING did. And it was the best relief ever! For those of us who have experienced this rash, you know it is miserable!!! The steroids were an oral pill where you start off taking 8, then reduce by 1 or 2 pills every day. The cream was great, too. So, PLEASE PLEASE talk to your doctor about steroids. They were safe for the baby and safe for me. And it was the ONLY thing that gave me relief. Hope this helps!
