Sounds similar to what I experienced (I did cytotec vaginally at 13 weeks with a blighted ovum the size of 7 weeks). However, a few days after my post, the actual blob came out (3 days following the cytotec) while I was treating patients. A little unnerving but completely painless. I'm glad they scared me into expecting the worst, but I'm sure true labor with a healthy baby in the future will be much more uncomfortable! I agree with you, I think we didn't have all of the bad side effects since we didn't take it orally. I can't imagine what that stuff would do to your digestive tract in those doses!!! Poor ladies that took it orally. Just curious to anyone who did, what was your MD's reason for oral Cytotec rather than vaginal?

PS, also, my MD said wait 3 months to TTC again. How about you all? I don't know if I will follow that advice or not.
