My fiance & I went in for our first visit at 7.5 weeks. They only saw the sac - but it was empty - and no foetal pole had begun forming. They told us to wait a week. They didn't take any tests - blood, etc - is that normal? We just went back Thursday - and no progress. We are devastated. Our wedding is in two weeks - and we were hoping to surprise everyone with our news :( Our doctor prescribed cytotec orally (200 mcg pills). I am to take them orally - four for the first dose - and then one every six hours for three more doses. I have no idea what to expect. It has been comforting reading everyone's posts - but I am still concerned. Our wedding is September 20 - and we are just so incredibly sad. I guess I just wanted so badly to believe the baby would begin forming. I think we'll start the doses tonight.
