Bee- I just bought some evening primrose oil capsules last night. I took 2 500mg last night and going to try to actually break 2 open today and rub the oil on my cervix. It doesn't really help induce labor, but it is supposed to be real good for softening and thinning your cervix. Also helps your pelvic for delivery, etc. Heard nothing but good things on it, so I am going to give it a shot. Tomorrow morning I am going to check my cervix and see if it has opened anymore. I am not one for woman who actually check their own cervix during the end of the pregnancy before full term and irritate it... but, I am now full term and I know what I am doing in there. LOL. I am not going to stick my fingers in it (since I am 3 cm dilated) or stretch it, but just rub around it with the oil. Can't hurt and no worse than sex. LOL... which we still do as well. Now (sorry TMI) right after sex I lay in bed instead of go straight to the bathroom, to leave the semen in there which is also supposed to help the cervix. All this isn't really inducing.... but, just helping things along. If no baby by Tuesday, my doc is going to ask if I want to get my membranes stripped. Hopefully I go into labor before my appt. Tuesday so I don't have to worry about that, but if not, just something else to look into. Bee- did you get that done?? I know it wont work if your not ready. ___nanabon- my best friend Heather from high school was dating a guy for 4 years and while I was there visiting them in San Diego, she found a meet me website (not the hotornot one) on their computer. Well, one night while her bf was drunk she brought it up and he said it was nothing and gave her the password to it (what a dummy).... anyhow, months went by and she decided to check it. He actually forgot he gave her the password. Anyhow, she found all these girls Emails in his inbox and he said he never actually met any in person. That its just something him and his buddies do at work bored. Just mess around with these chicks. She actually believed him. Until one day she read an Email that was from him to her (in his outbox) saying, "you are so sexy and can't wait to meet you this weekend" blah, blah, blah.... So, he was busted. They actually didn't break up over this (can you believe that!!!) but, a few months later they ended up breaking up just because things got worse. That part is a long story. Anyhow, I sure hope it doesn't end in the same result. HOw long have you been with him?? Are you 2 engaged or is this your husband??
