Christi- how was that a bad appt.?? Its sounds like a great appt. and that your doctor is on top of things. That is so wonderful. As far as the pcos thing... yea, thats what I was saying.. its not even a big deal to fix if it was a problem. So, that is good to hear!! Is he going to run test after AF starts?? Like day 3 of AF, maybe day 7 of AF and day 16 or so of AF to see if ovulation occured?? Well, good luck with all this and heck... maybe you will end up like me... having all these test scheduled and before I got to do any of them, I had a BFP. LOL... So, I never had to do them. You never know!!! If not, well.. at least you have a great doc that is getting down to business. Good luck!!! ____Dawn- I think Helenes temp stayed up for 18 days and thats what gave her indication of possible conception if I remember correctly. I know others who did the temp thing said that your temp should stay high. As far as the crib and changing table... we just found out yesterday that it will be here in one week. Yeah!!! In the meantime we have the pack and play set up where the crib will be, and we have a bassinet in our bedroom. So, we definitely have other methods, just wanted the room complete an all before baby came. My parents get out here next Thursday. I am so excited, but I feel like I have to do so much to get ready for company (family). Even though we keep our house spotless clean, I feel like its still not good for company. LOL... My hubby thinks I'm nuts, but maybe is the nesting right now. hehe... ___Coda- do you know that 98% of pre-eclampsia/hypertension can be fixed by a good diet?!?!? So many doctors say that the cause is unknown... thats only because there hasn't been much research into it. That book that I was talking about "INA MAY'S guide to CHILDBIRTH" by Ina May Gaskin, is wonderful and I think you would like it also. Especially since you are going with a midwife. Its not for only women in the US. People all over the world read this book. She is the #1 widwife world wide. I think you would get so much wonderful information from this book. :) ___Helene- Hey, my appetite never increased until the baby dropped. Just a few weeks ago is the first time that I have slurged my diet. LOL... Eating worse (sorry to admit, lol) and eating more. Yet, up until the last few weeks, I never got weird cravings or eat more than normal. In fact, probably less since I ate more frequent meals. Each person and each pregnancy is different.... so, you may just eat normal. I think too many woman use eating "more" as an excuse when pregnant. Usually to feed their feelings. Now, of course some woman actually do get more hungry, yet... still shouldn't let their diet turn to crap, especially since what you eat goes to the baby. :)
