Bee- how did the dr. figure the baby hasn't been engaged yet if he hasn't even done an internal?? Well, I wouldn't worry! You've popped out a few already.. so, you know whats ahead. As for me.... well... baby is OK. He developed slight jaundice and we stayed an extra day in the hospital so he could go under the lights to help bring it down. Yesterday was his follow up apt. and it went up a little again, so we have to go back again to recheck it. I guess its very common, especially when you breastfeed, but the liver works great on its own at 2 weeks...so, it should be fine soon. Although, the level is nothing of concern, just slightly above what they like to see. Now as for me... I just went to the hospital last night because my stitches (down there) opened up and I am in dying pain. Hurts to even go pee. I mean, so bad that I will hold it in until I dope myself up with meds so I can't feel it. They said they can't re-stitch that area because its too many days past when it happened and I just have to deal with it until it heals on its own. I'll tell you what, this pain is worse then when it tore as he came out. Even though I only had first degree tear, it doesn't matter. Any kind of cut down there will make you want to scream!! So, thats that. Oh, and my parents are coming in tomorrow. Can't wait!!! SInce hubby has gone back to work, I am all by myself during the day and its so hard getting things done around the house since baby seems to want to feed like every hour. All the times people tell you to get as much rest as possible when your pregnant, totally makes sense now. You really don't understand it until you have a baby. I was never one to sleep much as it was so I thought it wouldn't affect me. HA!!! So, thats my best advice for the preggos and soon to be... get your sleep!!!
