Hi TaraS I was just browsing when I saw your post. I want you to know that after 33 hrs of labour with my first he was taking by c-section and the heck I endured aftrewards was so horrid I wouldnt wish it on anyone. Well with my second they wanted me to do a VBAC and I was into it but I started having trouble, a little pain here a little pain there. Well needless to say my 2nd was a c-section and thank god he was! It turns out I didnt heal right and my c-section scare which was suppose to be 2 cm was 2mm thick and if i tried a VBAC I would have ruptured no question. I live in Canada so we dont pay for our health care but for me I would take what my dr says to heart and would consider it but in the end listen to your own body and what you want!
