Bee- yea, coda was just telling me that they pay you $4000 to have a baby there because of the low birth rate. Its the same here in Japan. They are paying women to have babies because more women are going to school, etc. and not having children so the future generation isn't going to be able to fill the jobs, etc. Too bad that doesn't apply to us because we aren't Japanese nationals. LOL... ANYHOW... Bee- they use to think that once you have a c-section that its too risky to have another... until recent studies show that the success rate is extremely high because of how they do c-sections now compared to before.. your uterus heals almost the exact same as normal. Medical technology has come along way. My sister had a c-section on her first 15 years ago, and wanted a VBAC. Her doctor let her try (this was 6 years ago)... Her water broke in the morning and they let her go 36 hours in labor to have a natural birth because the baby wasn't doing just fine. Well, right during the pushing phase his head was getting stuck, so she ended up having another c-section. It had NOTHING to do with the previous c-section but only that her pelvis wasn't opening up big enough to fit her sons head through. She was kinda bummed that she went that many hours to have a natural birth but then ended up having a c-section in the end. Although she is very happy she got to try. What kinda upset me is she made a comment to me that was a little inappropriate. I was told when I was almost due that I may end up with a c-section because my pelvis is also small. I told my sister that and she says, "Well, at least if you have a c-section you will still be tight down there, if you know what I mean" WELL>>> I didn't end up having one and had a perfect vaginal delivery.. so, what?? now I'm not as tight?? She shouldn't have said that. Whats so funny is my hubby and I agree that I am actually smaller and tighter down there now then I was before birth. Its so much better. All these woman that think you get lose after have a natural birth is wrong. Well, I guess unless something terrible goes wrong. But, you go right back to normal if not tighter. Its weird!
