Dawn- Thats great you have all your questions ready at hand for your doctor. If you show determination, it will push your doctor to get down to business much more. My apt. is on the 27th as well. She's just going to check to make sure everything looks OK from giving birth and take a pap, etc. I am also going to ask about birth control. My only question is... I thought you have to start birth control on the first day of your period. Well, it can sometimes take months to get that first AF after giving birth, so I wonder what she is going to do. I know they wont jump start an AF with provera just to get someone on birth control... hmmm. I also think I am going to give up breast feeding. My diet has been horrible since I gave birth and I hate having to watch everything I eat. I think I weigh less right now then before I got pregnant. Anyhow, I am just on the verge of giving up. It seems JD is so much more content with formula anyhow. He doesn't fuss at all with it and he sleeps great. Where it seems so many things I eat make JD fussy and he doesn't sleep long and cries more. I've been mixing both lately and has been working good. At least that way he is still getting some of my milk... but, since I am not exclusively breat feeding, Im not expressing as much and it takes longer and longer to get less now. My best advice to anyone that is TTC or is preggo right now is when you do get pregnant and/or deliver, make sure you dont have any long term guest visits for the first month. Its OK to have visitors to stop by and leave, but when they stay the night things start to get screwed up. The first month, (espcially that first 2 weeks) really needs to be just the baby and you (and of course hubby). Just get settled in and then have visitors. It will make life much easier. lol.
