I've been reading this post because I have the symptoms similar to yours. I already have 2 kids and am not ready for a third one just yet.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience with some of you from my 2 previous pregnancy.
I took us 5 months for my first kids and 8 months for the second.
I was having trouble trying to get pregnant the second time. After missing period for a week, I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. My husband and I were excited! But a week later, my started breeding. It was Saturday and the urgent care doctor will not see me because I told them I maybe having a miscarriage. Luckilyu by chance, after hundreds of calling around, I finally found a OB that will see me. She said I have chemical pregnancy. Whatever it is. She later put me on Clomid. That didn't help. After a few months, we tried faterity specialist.
She diagnosed me with mild PCOS and was caused by unstable blood sugar level. This comes as no surprise as I always skipped lunch because I was too busy at work. In addition, I have family history of diabetes. As the result, she put me on Avandia (diabetes med) to help control my blood sugar eventhough I am not diabetic. Guess what after a couple month, boomed! I was pregnanted with and second child and a beautiful & healthy baby girl was born 9 months later.
Long story short, I would suggest those you who have/had bad diet habit and a family history of diabetes should at least have your doctor check your blood sugar level.
