Mandy, is there any reason you can't go to a different doc? If you can, I would ask friends and co-workers if they're happy with their doc. It can take awhile to find the right one.....sounds like you're definitely with the wrong one. They may not always be able to sort out what's going on immediately, but you should certainly be able to ask questions and voice concerns and expect to be treated respectfully and have them explain why are choosing a certain course of action for your treatment. If you know others who are really happy with their doctor, now is a good time to switch to a new one. I am working with midwives here who are great. It's incredible that you are having to wait that long for an u/s. At this stage, a heartbeat is detectable if you are pregnant. Our midwives have you come in at 10wks pregnant for the first visit and to listen for the heartbeat. Maybe there's a different facility you can get an appointment with who will treat you much better. Perhaps you're not pregnant (which leaves a frustratingly tremendous number of questions as to WHAT is wrong), but you may be - I've read other stories of gals who had negative tests several months in and yet were actually pregnant. Still having symptoms? I'm trying to be hopeful but don't feel the things I was feeling last week. It will just be good to know what is going on, either way. The not knowing is awful. When you're always regular, it just doesn't make sense - SOMETHING is going on! But what?
