To Becca- Yes, a thyroid problem can cause you to be late or cause you to skip your period all together. That was one of the first things they checked when they did my blood work. As I said before, the reason I’m having the ultrasound done is because all of my tests came back normal, and there seems to be no other reason besides pregnancy for me to not be getting my periods. Just hang in there and try to be positive because you never know.

To Connie- I’ve been reading other peoples posts on here as well hoping that they would update us on their situation, but they never do. I can assure you that after I have the ultrasound done, I will update you on what I find out. Also, I think that it’s great that you have been so supportive of your daughter. If only more mothers were like you. I can only imagine how scary it would be to be pregnant at such a young age.
