hello :) I cant figure out how to start a new thread, so i hope you guys dont mind if i ask my question down here. :)

I ovulate very, very early. Normally within the week after my last period. I also have over, sometimes, 5 weeks in between starting and ending of periods. Well AF is due in 7 days, however due to my early ovulation I figured I could take a HPT. Multiple symptoms that have been going on for weeks. Yesterday morning I took one and nothing happened, at all. I waited 2 minutes, and still not control line. So i figured it was a dud and just threw it away. Later in the day when I came back, it had a big blaring positive line. Enough dye to bleed across the stick. How ever i know you're not supposed to read your results later then 10 minutes and this had been several hours. I took another this morning and it came back as a clear negative. So did that first positive mean anything at all?
