That's how both of mine were conceived. That's not a typical situation though. Either one or both partners need to be quite fertile for that to occur. So, I know in "the heat of the moment" it's hard to stop and cover but it'll save a lot of stress in the long run. You can both make slipcovering the couch fun too so it's not a chore...ahem. I do not take b/c either. My husband & I use condoms and family planning. So I understand especially since ur family has a negative history w/it. And I still haven't started either!
