I went for my 20 week ultrasound on Tuesday. I was so excited and nervous and now I'm just terrified. I'm calmed by how many woman unfortunately have been through the same ordeal. This is my first pregnancy and I'll be 30 a month before my baby girl is born. All other previous blood work came back negative for DS but it's still hard to think that there may be something wrong. Although I can't image going through pregnancy without this new technology we have today, sometimes you wonder if it causes more grief than necessary.
