Hi ANA! I am in the exact same situation as you are. I have been posting on babycenter where there is a forum for women who have these same markers. I am having a girl and I am 28 weeks now, but I had my u/s at 20 weeks and got this devastating news about the echogenic focus and the dilate4d kidneys. I have had three u/s since then, one of which was today and my doctor is not at all worried. My kidney dilation is about 5mm also, which he says is minimal. If you go over to babycenter, you can read all the stories there, but out of al the stories, not one of the women over there had a child with downs. My peri says these markers are very common.
