Yes you can I believe, as there are two different types of blood tests that can be done, one reading the amount of hcg in your blood, which I've heard ideally takes up to 8 - 10 days after conception to appear, and the other test is a yes / no answer for the doctor to read a reading under 5 hcg is read as Negitive and above is Positive, women varey as to how quickly we build this hormone up in our bodies..... when did you do a blood test ??? were you over due for your period or still within your cycle?
