I had a negative blood test 3 days after my period was due and the doctors told me I was not pregnant. A week later, I took a hpt with a faint postive and called the doctor back. Went for a second blood test and it was positive. I went 2 days later and the numbers were 4 times the original amount. I am 100% sure of the first day of my last period because I was on the pill.
This is my third pregnancy and I tested early with the other 2 with positives before my period was due. I do think this is an exception, but I wanted to get it out there that this can happen.
