I know this sounds soo much easier than is done but think this is one your gonna have to ride out. Infections can cause all kinds of reactions, especially in wee people! It may just be a bad coincidence but infection def wont help. It can cause her temp to rise, bad dreams, antibiotics may be making her feel rotten too(tummy upsets) I'd give her some calpol before bed, the paracetamol in it will keep her temp down, help reduce aches from her ear and can make her sleepy too so it might get her sleeping through night, we went through phase of giving it to Rosa every night for her teeth, then i read some research that said it can cause some long term effects in children if over used e.g Asthma but it's pretty safe as long as it's not forever-it's a god send for us sometimes!I think you'll only be able to tackle the sleeping prob properly when the acute problem of infections sorted out, one thing at a time and all that but believe me I've had many nights like what your going through and evrythin always feels so much worse through the night and knock on effect into daytimes awful, trying to function without much sleep is no good! If after infection cleared up and stil havin probs why dont you drag cot back out, know it'll feel like going step back with her progress but it cant do any harm for few months until shes wee bit older. We were going to try Rosa in big girls bed soon but think im going to leave it until near end of summer, get potty training out way first, plus I know for a fact there aint no way on this earth I could truat her to stay put in it! Will hear how you go, good luck, keep fingers crossed for good nights sleep. If all else fails why not pre arrange an overnight stay for her at grans,aunty/uncle close friend etc, be wee adventure for her and break for you!x
