Hi!!!! Glad you came back! I almost stopped checking for replies then decided to check again today. I don't blame you for not posting on the infant threads. When I was over there trying to find you once, I couldn't believe how many ladies were there and how much they posted. They must all be first-time mom's-to-be with nothing better to do, right?? LOL

I'm glad to hear how well Frankie is doing, and hope his dad gets better soon. Glad things are going well with your pregnancy too.

How is your DH's job going? Hopefully better than my DH's. He's on a list of employees to be laid off at his job soon, maybe as early as this coming Wednesday. He's not supposed to know about it, but he could tell something was up last week at work and his boss finally admitted it. His boss isn't the one trying to lay him off, he's actually trying to keep him. It's his boss's boss that's doing this, so hopefully we'll have a miracle and he'll get to stay. At least long enough for him to find another job before he's on the chopping block again. After both of us worked for all these years, making over 150K between the two of us, going to no income isn't going to be pretty. I don't even want to think about what to do for insurance either. School has been going so well for me (got A's in both of the classes I took last semester) and I'd hate to give that up, but I might need to go back to work if my husband can't find something. Of course, that assumes I could find something too...LOL. Fortunately, we have a good amount of savings to live on for awhile, but I hate the idea of blowing it all just because we had shitty employers. DH is actually much more calm about this than I am, and he looks forward to a (small) amount of time off, then starting a new job. I pray he finds one so I can stay in school and finish my degree. I decided to go for the nursing degree instead of medical assisting, and I need another two years to complete an LPN, or three for an RN. But just in case, I really started job searching last week, contacting all my old business associates for leads and to start networking. My how quickly life can change on you...

Well, I'm going to run. Hope to hear from a few others soon.
