Take her to Children's Hospital if you are in the states. If not then take her to your equivelent. You need to be an advocate for her. You are her mother and you know something is wrong. Wether it is serious or not, you need an actual answer. Doctors usually go with the obvious. It isn't until you push that they begin to look at other things. Maybe she has reflux, or an allergy, maybe she is having mouth or throat pain- why that would make her vomit is questionable. I know how you must feel, your baby is hurting from something and you haven't been able to protect her from that yet. We have a three year old and our son is 9 and a half months. I can only imagine your frustration. Speak up to the doctor and don't let him, or her, tell you nothing is wrong when you know something is. If need be, BF her in the office to demonstrate exactly what is happening. Sometimes that can be helpful. Don't feel self concious about BF'ing in front of the pediatrician either. He or she is there for that kind of thing too and should be more than willing to witness firsthand. I am so sorry you and your little one have to go through this. If you want to talk more you can email me. Here is code for my email address. amanda venable at msn, then a period and then come, without the e. If that made it past the filters then I must be a genius.
