Impossible! Some people think having sex will make your labor start (something in semen that softens the cervix), and you shouldn't have sex once your water breaks because of the risk of infection, but you can't get pregnant while you're already pregnant. After you have your baby, though, you need to start using protection right away...there's no telling when you will ovulate, since you won't have a period first, and breastfeeding doesn't protect 100% against pregnancy. Most docs will ask what kind of birth control you want at your 6 week checkup...if you think you will be having sex sooner than that, you can ask the doc for birth control before you're discharged from the hospital.
