I was told by my ob/gyn that the uterus of a formula feeding mother always stays a liitle bigger. He also said that the uterus of a woman who ebf does go down to its prepregnant size.

To all bottle feeding mothers - the claim that the uturus of bottle feeding mothers does not go back to its original size whereas that of breastfeeding women does is emphatically not true. I did ask my own doctor who just said "Don't listen to such nonsense". So, if you have to bottle feed due to medical issues or simply chose to do so for whatever reason, you will be fine! As for me - had to bottle feed and back in my pre-pregnancy clothes after 2 weeks, almost back to my previous figure after 1 month, being in much better shape than a lot of breastfeeding mothers who gave birth at the same time. At the age of 39 and after a c-section. However, I had a high fitness level pre-pregnancy and put on only 8 1/2 kilos. Abdominal binders are a huge help.
