Ladies - First off, my heart breaks to hear of such late late losses. My loss was at close to 15 weeks, and they thought it was because of fiborids. I had a myo in March. I am pregnant now (first try after Myo) but my first scan at 7 weeks showed a sack and a yolk sac but no fetal pole. So I probably am MCing now, I have another scan on Thursday to confirm demise. ANYWAY, this is not related to the myo, just a cruel twist of fate. Joker, a myo is a good decision in my opinion. The best way to get through it is a VERY positive attitude, try to sit up as early as the day of surgery, and stroll the hospital on the 2nd day. I was let out within 48 hours. GOOBERS_ Holy cow!! The size of football? My gosh!! My bioggest was a softball and I could not believe that had been inside me without my knowledge. Good luck to all. Make sure you have good insurance. The whole procedure, everything, costs about $25k. Oh, alos, with my scan last week, they found ANOTHER fibroid. A new one at 1 cm. So once you have the Myo you need to act FAST to get through TTC and a pregnancy before they come back! In my case I waited 3 months. Don't be afraid Joker, it's invasive YES, but it is routine and you'll be fine.
