Hi everyone. I had my doc appt and have to go back for a u/s with a specialist to get size/location/# of fibroids. My uterus is about the size of a 20-23 week pregnancy which means these fibroids have not shrunk! After my u/s I have to go back to my doc and go over the results. He says I will need to be put on drugs to help shrink fibroids and take iron supps to build my iron up so we can do surgery. I'm hoping to have it done in feb 07. Has anyone else taken the drugs to shrink fibroids prior to having surgery? How is everyone else doing? MelissaK, how are you doing? Please check in and let us know.
