Thank you to both of you for your responses. Christine, I am sorry that I didn't respond sooner, but honestly I could not figure out how to get back to this site. I know that sounds retarded, but it is the truth. Anyway, to let you both know, I went back for my ultrasound yesterday (12/13) and had started bleeding. There was no heartbeat at all. I asked the doctor when it basically happened, and he said right after my first u/s. I went today (12/14) for my D & C. I thank you both for your concern and prayers. Meredith, I know exactly how you are feeling and just to let you know that my first miscarriage was in 1998 and my second in 1999. I then went to my current OB because he specializes in fertilaty. My problem was that my uterus was too thin and the fetus could not attach. I finally went on Clomid and ended up with beautiful twin girls who are now 4years old. We weren't planning on having anymore children, but when I found out I was pregnant, I was so excited and really hoped that it was going to be a boy (for my husbands sake). The doctor told me that it was nothing that I did, but I have found out that the only way that I am going to be able to carry a baby to term is to be on meds, and right now I just don't know that I could handle the possibility of having another multiple birth. Meredith, I was 32 when I had the twins, and you still have plenty of time to have children. I wish you the best and my prayers are with you. Thank you both again for the encouraging words. God bless you both.
