Your HCG needs to "at least" double every 48 hours in the beginning to be a good pregnancy. In fact, it should triple every 48 hours in the very beginning, but then double when you hit about 7 weeks, then it should only double every 72 hours once your HCG hits about 10,000.... Britney- I wouldn't go by your LMP for how far you are.. especially if your periods weren't normal (mine never were).. but, what is your HCG at now?? You can't see anything in an ultrasound (even a transvaginal one) until your HCG hits 2000. So, if they haven't checked your levels lately, you might want to ask.. just to see if they're still doubling, and to see how high it is. Also, that cant also help rule out ectopic. Honestly, I think you just caught it very early. Does he have you have a repeat in a week?
