I'm so sorry you've had worrying news. HCG isn't everything though. Cheryl actually had declining numbers for awhile:
They only saw a sac and a fetal pole. The u/s tech was scheduling me for a d&c. I wouldn't have it done because I was having no other signs of miscarriage. One week later I had another u/s. We saw a hb immediately. The whole time my hcg levels were declining. I went on to have a very healthy baby girl who is 5 now.

I know it's so hard to hope and wait and I don't want to give you false hope, but you have two inconclusives at the moment: an HCG reading (never conclusive) and a too-early scan. I think you should book for one more scan in a week to two weeks time - it is standard procedure given your early dates and the situation. I applaud you for choosing to let things happen naturally - that way there will be no 'what ifs' or regrets. I still have real hope for your pregnancy. Wishing you all the very best. Cheyne xx
