Pregnancy Info HOME

We had an appointment with an fertility specialist this week, but found out last week we are pregnant by accident!

My Dr. has been tracking my hcg levels, although they are not doubling, the are going up the bare minimum of 2/3. I have been reading others posts, and my numbers seem to be very low. I think I am just beginning my sixth week, and my last hcg count was in the 3,000s. Does that seem too low? The doctor seems optimistic because the number is rising...i have heard of 2 other cases where the numbers don't double, and a healthy baby is the result. Does any one have any info?

I just had a m/c last october, and don't know if i'm ready to go through that all over again....we want a child soooo bad! I have an u/s tomorrow, so I'll post if it's good news or not. I'd still love to hear the outcome of anyone else in this situation!
