I'm just reading some of this stuff and I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one with this issue! I was going to a Midwife and when she examined me she found my uterus to be smaller than 8weeks so she did an ultra sound and it dated me at 5weeks. SO she decided to do a quant. HCG and then called me after only 2 readings and said my HCG wasn't going up fast enough and I was going to lose this baby. So being a first time mom (an educated one, but still first time) I was really upset after I calmed down I did some research and talked to my mom (a health professional) I found out that she had low HCG levels for all four of her pregnancies and her last pregnancy was dated a 3 weeks later than it really was! Anyways I hope that everything will be ok, I've had no signs of a miscarriage and my normal pregnancy symptoms are increasing.
