Hi Gracefaith. I completely understand where you are coming from. I am only 17 weeks pregnant and I have stones in both of my kidneys. They do not know if they will stay or they will pass, but nothing can be done for them at this time. Like you, they gave be Vicodin, but I hate taking it. I guess I will just have to deal with the pain until the baby comes. I would not recommend a stent. I had one in following another surgery to remove a stone and it was extremely painful.
