Hi! I am glad we found this thread. It has answered alot of our questions about kidney stones while pregnant. My wife has a kidney stone and she is 28 wks. pregnant. We went to the ER around 24 weeks along and the doctor's sonogram confirmed that she had a good sized kidney stone stuck in her ureter. The doctor has put a stent in to relieve the pain, but it seems that there is still alot of suffering involved even with that. We are so glad to know that there are other people out there with the same problem. And it has helped us a lot to know that even after all this stress your babies have turned out alright. The doctor says he will have to replace the stent at about 32 wks. to keep it from calcifying and not being able to remove it after the baby is born.
