Hi I'm due in less than a week and have been hospitalized twice with kidney stones. I was put on morphine and gravol for both occurences and am worried that this drug is so strong it could have some effect on my baby, although my obstetrition said it was safe. Is it common to be prescribed this for pain? My worst fear now is that I will have an attack while I am in labour. I feel subtle pain in my side but it does subside with a lot of water intake. Has anyone had an attack while in labour? My doc says an epidural will eleviate the pain if this happens. This is my second pregnancy my first one now seems like a dream (no problems). Thanks for sharing your stories everyone they've been helpful.
