I was 19 when I was pregnate with my first child. I woke up one night in excruciating pain. It hurt so bad I couldn't even move. My boyfriend thought I was going into labor and so did I at first except instead of on and off pain it was constant. I couldn't even walk to the car to go to the hospital. Finally when we got there they told me I had a kidney stone. I didn't even know what that was. They wanted to give me medication to help aleviate the pain but I kept refusing because of the baby. After about 6 hours in the ER they MADE me take an injection of what I can not remember exactly now, but they assured me that it would not hurt the baby. ( I was about 5 months along.) As soon as I was medicated and able to relax a little I passed the stone and everything was ok, except that I still hurt for a couple days afterward. Good luck to you.
