I had surgery during my second pregnancy for a large blocked stone and then had a stent put in. I was in the hospital ten days before they finally decided to go ahead with the surgery. My understanding is that the second trimester is the safest time for this procedure to happen. I was supposed to have the stent for 1 mth but made them remove it after 3 weeks because it was too painful. I am now on my thrid pregancy and have already passed 40+ stones and had one hospitalization. It has been extremely difficult but I am just looking forward to seeing my baby and hopefully, the extremely maginified case of stones will die down after she is born. Good luck!
