Thank you Nicole for your quick response. After having another attack on Sunday night that lasted 3 1/2 hours, I went to my Ob-gyn the next morning and demanded further testing. Sure enough, you were right, I do have gallstones. I was immediately sent to the surgeon who is hesitant in doing surgery at this time to remove my gallbladder because of the pregnancy. According to him, there is a very small chance that the surgery could induce labor but it is a risk that I will try to avoid at all costs. In the meantime, I've been attack free now for 3 days. So wish me luck. I am relieved in knowing what is going on with me and I look forward to being pain free in the future. Thanks again for your feedback.
