Well I feel like a new person because last wednesday I passed my kidney stone (22 weeks prego) and that sucker was HUGE!!! It was about the size of a green pea. I measured it & it is 1/4" in diameter!! My urologist wants to analyze it since it was so big. But in answer to someones question about what a stone looks like: mine was brown & white (calcium) and looked like a funny jagged rock. I'd never seen one before either so it was wierd to see it. I didnt' hurt actually peeing it out which was nice. The only reason I even knew I passed a stone was because my pain had gone away and that night I got up to go pee & my bladder was really full but when I sat down to pee for a split second nothing came out!! Then I felt a wierd plop & my pee came gushing out! So I thought it was kind of wierd & I turned on the light & looked in the toilet & there it was staring back at me!! I fished it out of the toilet with some toilet paper so I could call my urologist the next morning to tell him how big it was! Anyway, after 3 months of having the stone I'm feeling like a new person! I didn't realize how much pain I was in for so long until I passed the stone. Good luck to all you out there that are going through this. I just hope there's not more stones to come for me!!!
