I think once there is room the baby can go any which way he/she wants. I am 34 weeks and had an ultrasound this morning. almost 3 weeks ago he was breech, a month before that he was in the head down position. now as of today he is in the head down position once more. the baby knows what he wants to do. i completed my lamaze last week and there was a girl who was 35 weeks and she had her ultrasound. the baby was transverse (sideways i think) so her c-section was booked because they didnt think the baby would turn again at that stage. odds are the baby would not be breech since i hear it is only 4% (?) of women who have breech babies, is that % correct? so as a gambling person i would say baby should not turn....BUT of course it could.
