sonja...seriosly, they told you to have an abortion???? wow!!! and this is 'amazing'?? yeah its a bit challenging for sure with a fibroid, and we are lucky gals, but IT DOES HAPPEN!! those dr's need to do some research!! my ob said i was a 'togh case' but never left me with any doubts of having a successful pregnancy............and my beautiful boy (now 15 months) was born a healthy 7 lbs 8 oz..........andd my fibroid grew to a healthy 17 cm.........haha...........but it never caused me any pain or problems, nor my lil man!! my ob says not to opetrate if i want another, so i am stuck wth a big fibroid for a few years!!! i did go thru a couple of dr's that were very eager to operate, offering that as the only option, telling me because it was a big fibroid (about 11-12cm at that time) it might just end up being a hysto......well as a 31 year old gal with no babies i refused!! (one dr eveb said there was a chance it was cancer and scheduled an OR date without my permission!!) scare tactics!! where do these dr's come from??? hold stong in your convictions gals..........sonja, a healthy big babe is coming yer way!! sandra..........it is very do able!!
