WOW! It is amazing how common these things are!! When I first found out that I was pregnant the U/S tech just kept saying "this is just not normal for someone your age, or race even" they say it is more common in hispanics and blacks. The first go around I had 3 10-11 cm, 2 golf ball sizes and about 7-10 dime size...I was full of them! After my c-section delivery, 6 mo. later I had a myomectomy to remove as many as possible! Now, 2 years later, I am pregnant again and there are still that many, just not as big! The larger ones are about quarter size (3 of them). The rest (10) are pretty small, dime size or so. So they are no where near the first time (2 yr. ago) I had my U/S so which is good! They are strange creatures! Even after having the big ones removed, the dr. did tell me that most likely they would come back .....and he was right! So he did urge me at the time of removing them that we should try to conceive sooner than later so that would not get that large again! What is funny is I never even knew that I had them....no family history or even any problems!
