sarah, I was pregnant with about 7 fibroids, the largest at the time was 7cm, 5cm and 4, the others were much smaller. I didn't even realize that I had fibroids until they did my ultrasound! I never had problems either with them, I was high risk and watched very closely by my doctor we were concerned with how the baby could grow because there is only so much room in there! The largest one got to be 15cm....it literally poked out at the top of my stomach you could see it really bad when I layed down, it looked like a head, it was pretty gross actually! But anyways, he did recommend that if I was going to get pregnant again that I should get them removed so I had them removed 6 months after my baby girl was born, he did tell me about the risk but after doing ALOT of reading, I realized that either way their were going to be risk, my daughter was a blessing, and I knew that if I kept the fibroids there could be a chance that I couldn't have anymore, the same chance that if I had the myomectomy, so I opted to have the surgery to have them removed. Unfortuantely they have come back! But, are not any where near the size, so he is not to worried this time! I am 10 weeks pregnant now and think that this pregnancy will be alot smoother! Hopefully!
