Yes they did shrink alot within that 6 months that I was debating on whether to get them removed or not. But, I knew that they would just get that big again when I got pregnant. The nurses and dr. were very shocked that I had no idea of them before and that my old gyno could not feel them....you would have thought that I would have had a pretty big tummy with all of them before I was pregnant, but not at all I was in excellent shape, and a FLAT tummy, boy are those days over...lol anyways, all of you info is correct, I just put faith in my dr. because I really trusted him and he is a very well known, great reputation dr. here in my town, so I let him take care of me. And he did, I was extremely worried if I was going to be able to have another because we were trying for about 6 mons and it just wasn't happening, then a vacation did it for us! So, I think that if the myomectomy is done correctly, then you would have no problems getting pregnant! As for not getting it removed and going into labor early that is exactly why I was high risk, my dr. was just glad to get me past 25 weeks, then we just waited and waited, and I made it to 36 weeks which is when I had a c-section.
It is defintely a lot to think about!
