I have fibroids while pregnant, too. I didn't even know I had them until I went to have CVS testing at 10 weeks, and the sonographer asked me if I knew I had them (I didn't). I have three that were detected (at the inside top of my uterus), the largest being about an inch. The placenta was located between a couple of the fibroids, but the doctor didn't seem to think it was an issue, though he wasn't able to perform the CVS testing (we've rescheduled for my 12th week). I was told it's a very common condition, especially in women over age 35 (I'm 47). I was also told they tend to stretch and flatten out during pregnancy and can be treated afterwards. That's all I know about them so far, but expect to learn more at my next doctor's appointment. I'm even more curious after reading some of the posts here. For instance, I was never told they can cause a miscarriage or premature labor. I would have thought that if it was that much of a problem, I would've been told.
