I was just diagnosed with an uterine fibroid outside the uterus wall after having constant, intense pelvic pain for a day and an half and the fibroid, smaller than a pea, on the right hand side near my bikini line (like a lump of coal). I'm 37 and 25 weeks pregnant with my first. The good news is that everything is fine with the baby. The bad news is the pelvic pain and the intensity of the pain when the baby moves near the fibroid. Until the pelvic pain a couple of days ago, my pregnancy has been pretty smooth sailing with no problems. My dr seems to think that the fibroid might be causing me intense pelvic pain because it's degenerating. I'm hoping that it is too and that this pain will subside or go away within 3-5 days, or at least stays the same size. Except for tylenol, any advice or suggestions for pain relief?
